Hyemi Shin is PhD Candidate in the Management/Strategy concentration. She received her BBA in English literature and linguistics and BBS in Applied statistics from Yonsei University, South Korea.
Before pursuing her PhD, she worked as a market research analyst in Ogilvy Mather Korea office and as a research assistant at the media art research institute of Yonsei University.
Her research focuses on the field-level emergence of corporate social responsibility (CSR) systems and professionals in different cultures and economy systems. She has particular interest in multi-level dynamics of the CSR field from transnational to local spaces by focusing on roles and interactions of diverse actors.
