Jan Lepoutre is assistant professor in the Management Department at ESSEC Business School. He received his MSc in Bioscience Engineering from KULeuven and his Postgraduate and PhD in Applied Economics from Ghent University, Belgium. Jan's research focuses on the nexus of organizational theory and organizational behavior on the one hand, and entrepreneurship and complex societal challenges on the other. His work has been published in such journals as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Small Business Economics and Journal of Cleaner Production. Current research projects include poverty reduction strategies of corporations in rural Kenya, and institutional strategies for managing financial innovations in the banking industry. |
