Lisa Baudot is PhD Candidate in the Accounting/Auditing concentration. She received her BBA in Accounting (1997) and MBA in International Business (2002) from U.S. institutions. Before pursuing her PhD, she worked as an external auditor for Ernst & Young LLP, an internal auditor for Lafarge North America, Inc. and a financial controller for Harman International Industries. She holds certifications in public accounting (CPA) and internal auditing (CIA).
Lisa has worked as a Research Assistant at ESSEC Business School and a Teaching Assistant at INSEAD during 2010/11. Her research focuses on the modernization/globalization of accounting regulatory systems, institutions and processes. She has particular interest in the interaction of meanings and processes in the global convergence of accounting standards which is the focus of her doctoral thesis. |
