Marie-Léandre Gomez is an associate professor of Management Control, Accounting & Management Control Department at ESSEC Business School. Her research focuses on the links between micro and macro dimensions in organizations with an emphasis on individual, collective, and organizational learning; social perspectives on creativity and the conflicting role of control; practice-based approaches on organizations; and the mediating role of management control systems. She has investigated these topics through empirical studies in the field of haute cuisine, budgeting and planning practices, hospitals and the implementation of national indicators. Marie-Léandre's work has been published in journals such as Organization Studies, Management Learning, Expansion Management Review, Revue Française de Gestion, Harvard Deusto Finanzas y Contabilidad. She is the author of the book chapter "A Bourdieusian Perspective on Strategizing" in The Cambridge Handbook of Strategy-as-practice. |
